I just completed the voiceover for an iPad app coming soon for "The Doll Violinist" by Mayra Calvani and illustrated by Amy Moreno. What a lovely book! The touching story is beautifully illustrated. Mayra sent me these good words about my interpretation of her story:
"Donna did a fabulous job! With her beautiful voice and perfect intonation just at the right moments, she brought my children's story, The Doll Violinist, to life. She's prompt and professional and I really look forward to working with her again in the future."
"The voiceover for Down By The Shore by Donna Shepherd is smooth and velvety. She is a voiceover talent that gives quality narration. You are sure to get the results you want - fast and within your budget."
"I love your voice and the way you enunciate critical words." - Marilee Crow
Check out this video of "Whispering Wally" called "The Trouble with Treasure." I play Torrie, a tiny sea turtle. Based on characters developed by Kevin S. Collier and Kristen Collier. Isn't Torrie cute?
TORRIE THE SEA TURTLE learns many lessons from her guide and mentor Wally the whale in their story time adventures. Torrie represents the curiosity of youth in all of us as well as the drive to explore and discover new things in a unknown environment. So, it's good to know that the young at heart with a huge guardian like Wally the whale can experience wonderful discoveries in the oceans with safety and security.
I was so pleased with the professional voiceover Ms. Shepherd did for my latest book, A Necklace for Jiggsy. She has perfect timing and a wonderful voice that complemented my work. I will be using her for my future books. Donna Shepherd gets 5 stars.
"Donna Shepherd recorded voiceover for my book, Animal Sound Mix-up, and did a wonderful job. I don't have the equipment and technical knowledge to do this yet, and she produced quality recordings with which I'm very pleased. Her voice is lovely and she makes listening to it quite enjoyable." -Connie Arnold
